Barbara Jean Bond

Mrs. Barbara Jean Atkins Bond, 84, was born on December 17, 1937 in Bruceton, TN, to the late Clinton Murrell Atkins and Myrtle Lucille Glosson Atkins She departed this life on February 12, 2022 at NHC Healthcare in Murfreesboro. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by by a daughter Vickie Jean Humble, 2 sons Michael Bond and Curtis Bond also a brother Jack Atkins. Mrs. Bond was a member of Peabody Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter Cindy Renee Smith of Murfreesboro. 7 grandchildren April Burdin, Christy Rogers , Bradley Smith, John Bond, Kyllie McClain, Mindy Bond and Mandy Bond. 11 great-grandchildren Shelby Walker, Rebecca Walker, Emily Walker , Chris Rogers, Caleb Rogers, Odin Smith, Kegan Smith, Olivia Standridge, Owen Standridge, Lola Bryant and Landon Bryant . One great-great grandchild Amelia Somerville. Visitation for Mrs. Bond will be Saturday, Feb. 19 from 1:00 PM till 3:00 PM. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM all at Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel.
