Bonnie Sue Thompson

Mrs. Bonnie Sue Thompson, 80, departed this life on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at her home with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Thompson was born on May 25, 1942 in Chesterfield, TN to the late Oscar and Ollie Maness. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by 4 sisters Edna, Alphie Bee, Doris and Eva, also 5 brothers Junior, Granville, Ace, Dent and Pony. She is survived by her husband of 54 years William Charles "Charlie" Thompson of Buena Vista. Two sons: Chris Thompson of Memphis and Keith (Jeanna) Thompson of Buena Vista. Three grandsons: Clay(Tyler Brooke) Thompson, Hunter (Halie) Thompson and Dillon (Hannah) Thompson. Two great- grandchildren Graham Lee Thompson and Tate River Thompson. Visitation will be on Monday, April 10th from 4:00PM till 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 9:00 AM till time for 1:30 PM. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Buena Vista . Burial will follow at McAuley Cemetery.
