Denton Reece Jordan, Sr.

Mr. Denton Reece Jordan, Sr. 80, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. He was a retired computer programmer and U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was a member of Bruceton Masonic Lodge #731 and also the Al Chymia Shrine. Mr. Jordan was born on September 5, 1942, in Benton County, TN to the late Woodrow and Elease Cook Jordan. Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by a daughter Denise Renee Jordan. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Denton Reece ( Shannon) Jordan, Jr. of Mansfield, TN. One brother Rickey W. Jordan of Hollow Rock, TN. Three grandsons: Reece ( Madison) Jordan III, Riley Jordan and Tanner Jordan. One great- granddaughter Reagan Jordan. Two nephews David Jordan and M. Scott Jordan. Visitation will be held Sunday from 11:00 AM till 2:00 PM funeral service time. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, February 12, in the Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM with a eulogy by Denton Jordan, Jr. followed by a Masonic service. Burial will follow in Crossroads Cemetery.
