Dorman Mylette Cottingham

Mr. Dorman Mylette Cottingham, 87, was born August 25, 1933 in Montgomery, AL to the late John Russell Cottingham and Mary Jane Barnes Cottingham. He departed this life on January 31, 2021 at his home Hollow Rock, TN surrounded by his loving family. He was retired maintenance for Inland Container and a U. S. Air Force Veteran. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Janet Dean Ott Cottingham, a son Ricky Cottingham, a daughter Juanette Cottingham. He is survived by 5 daughters : Heather (Rich) Bratton of Hollow Rock, Nelda (Daniel) Hunter of AL., Sandy Hafemann , Susan Hunter and Donna Tomlinson of FL. 2 sons : David (Tammy) Cottingham of Camden and Chris (Amanda) Cottingham of Gadsden. 21 great grandchildren and numerous great- grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 4 pm till 8 pm at Bruceton Funeral Home. Cremation will follow. Services and burial will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Selma, Al.
