Irene Parker Cole

Mrs. Irene Parker Cole, 99, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022 at her home in Bruceton. Mrs. Cole was born on July 4,1923 in Benton County, TN to the late Wyly and Annie Yates Parker. She was a retired operator clerk for L&N Railroad, the oldest living member of Bruceton First United Methodist Church, were she served as treasury of the U.M.W. for many years. Mrs. Cole loved the Lord , her precious family and friends. She will be greatly missed by many. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Orville Cole and 2 brothers Frank and Shannon Parker. She is survived by one son: Lynn (Suzie) Cole of Camden, TN. 2 sisters: Dora Dean Pierce of Etowah,TN and Bobbye Presson of Union City, TN. 2 brothers: John Parker and Steve Parker both of Bruceton, TN . 3 grandchildren: Trevor (Rachelle) Caldwell , Hunter (Dina) Cole and Alli Cole. 6 great- grandchildren: Addison and Brenna Caldwell, Molly Hunter Mason and Elias, Alex and Eleni Cole. Pallbearers who serve will be Randall Pinson, Keith Smothers, Craig Parker, Eddie Webb, Eddie Dupree and Kelvin Presson. Honorary pallbearers: Randle Williams, Bob Keeton and Mark King. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 18 at 2:00PM at Bruceton First United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 17 from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM. and on Sunday from 11:00 AM till 1:45 time for departure for the church.
