James "Sonny" Daniel

Bro. James "Sonny" Daniel , 82, was born on November 4, 1938 in Newport, AR.to the late James Milton Daniel and Wilma Frances Sheeley Daniel. He departed this life on Dec.1, 2020 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. He was a retired Baptist minister who spent most of his life preaching the word of God. He was a member of Bruceton First Baptist Church and a retired U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife Linda Melton Daniel of Bruceton, TN, 1 daughter: Kelly (Marty) May of Atoka, TN 1 son: James Timothy ( Cheri) Daniel of of Bartlett, TN 1 sister: Anna Gayle Simms of Bruceton, TN ,1 brother: Joe Kenneth Daniel of Nashville, TN. 8 grandchildren: Lindy (Carlos) Avila , Abby May, Danny May, Rachel Daniel, Katey May, Hope Daniel, Anna Daniel and Aaron Daniel. 1 great-grandchild Chloe Avila . Visitation will be on Saturday, December 5th from 11:00 am till 2:00 pm funeral service time at Bruceton First Baptist Church.
