Nelle Smothers Lowe

Mrs. Nelle Smothers Lowe was born on June 5, 1934, in Carroll County, TN to the late Clarence Logan Smothers and Erma Stella Austin Smothers. She passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon, TN. Mrs. Lowe was a retired supervisor for H.I.S. and a faithful member of Bruceton First Baptist Church. Besides her parents so was also preceded in death by her husband Gaylon Lowe and 3 sisters Juanita Hampton, Sue Tippett and Maybelle Blankenship. She is survived by 2 sons: Billy (Lee) Lowe of New Johnsonville and Barry( Donna) Lowe of Jackson . 4 grandchildren:Bart(Amy) , Benjamen(Ryane), Ryan(Shelby) , Courtney(Todd). 6 great grandchildren: James Lowe, John Lowe, Bennett Lowe,Rylen Lowe, Lilly Merrell and Landon Merrell. Visitation will held on Friday from 5 pm till 8pm and on Saturday from 12 till time for departure for the church for 2 pm service at Bruceton First Baptist Church.
